Black Credits is a free, independent research and media resource about opportunities for Black American actors in film and television. Information is provided for general informational purposes.
Accuracy
We source every fact and correct errors quickly, but release dates, casts and platforms change, and we can't guarantee everything is complete or current. Check official sources before making decisions that depend on it. Found a mistake? Send a correction with a source.
Using our research
You may read, share and quote our published findings with credit to Black Credits and a link back to the page. Bulk copying or reselling our data, or presenting it as your own, requires written permission; ask us about licensing.
Member accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
What you post
Submissions, campaign text and corrections must be accurate and sourced where we ask for sources. You keep ownership of what you write and give us permission to publish, edit for clarity, moderate or remove it.
Not allowed:
- Harassment, threats or slurs, or targeting any person, their family or crew.
- Posting private information such as home addresses, phone numbers or personal emails.
- Unsupported accusations, or guessing anyone's identity or ancestry.
- Spam, impersonation, or anything illegal.
Campaigns are voluntary and about a film's documented record. What you watch is always your choice.
Sponsors, affiliate links and other sites
Sponsored content is always labeled. Some links may be affiliate links that earn us a commission at no cost to you; they're labeled too, and they never affect our research (see our disclosure policy). We aren't responsible for the content or practices of other sites we link to.
Photos and trademarks
Photos are used under their licenses and credited (see photo credits). Film titles, trailers and logos belong to their owners. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, contact us through the contact form and we'll respond promptly.
No warranty; limits on liability
The site is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Black Credits isn't liable for losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its information.
